1.Top Gun:Maverick

Top Gun: Maverick was highly anticipated by movie theater executives and created a buzz at CinemaCon 2022 in April. The film had a successful preview period, earning $19.2 million in domestic previews, the highest gross in Paramount Pictures' history and the highest grossing Memorial Day preview ever. Its opening weekend was also a record-breaking success, earning $126.7 million domestically and breaking the 15-year record previously held by Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End for the biggest Memorial Day weekend of all time. Top Gun: Maverick also had the smallest second-weekend drop of any film that debuted above $100 million. 2.Avatar:The Way of Water

After a 13-year wait, James Cameron released the first of his planned Avatar sequels, The Way of Water, which became the sixth biggest December opening in history and the largest outside of the Marvel and Star Wars franchises. It opened with a strong $134.1 million domestically and showed strong holds over the Christmas and New Year's holiday period, appealing to a wide audience. The film performed well on premium screens such as Imax, and its lack of competition in early 2023 means it will likely continue to do well at the box office. The Way of Water's strong performance follows several ups and downs in major releases throughout 2022.

3.Black Panther:Wakanda Forever

Disney reported strong early numbers for Marvel's Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, with $28 million in Thursday night previews in the United States. Including these previews, the film earned $84 million on its first day, beating a 13-year-old record previously held by The Twilight Saga: New Moon for the highest grossing "first day" of any November release. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever opened to a domestic total of $181.3 million, just a 10% drop from the original Black Panther's opening in 2018 ($202 million). It also broke the November domestic opening weekend record previously held by The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in 2013 ($158 million). AMC Theatres reported a record for the most food and beverage sales in a single day in November in the company's 102-year history, and IMAX set a November domestic weekend box office record with $14.2 million. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever went on to lead the box office for five consecutive weekends, making it the first film to do so since the original Black Panther in 2018.

4.Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness set a new record for first-day ticket sales on Fandango in 2022, beating the previous record set by The Batman. The film earned $36 million from domestic previews, making it the eighth largest preview gross in history and the only 2022 film to make it into the top ten. It came in just behind Avengers: Infinity War ($39 million) and had the second highest preview gross during the pandemic, behind Spider-Man: No Way Home's $50 million. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness also had a strong opening weekend, earning $187.4 million domestically, which remains the highest opening weekend of 2022. This was more than double the original Doctor Strange's opening in 2016 ($85 million) and just 20% lower than the first film's domestic total of $232.6 million. The film became the seventh highest opening in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, behind Avengers: Endgame in 2019 ($357.1 million), and held this record until the release of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which came in at eighth place with $181.3 million.

5.Black Adam

Warner Bros.' DC Comics film Black Adam had a strong opening weekend, earning $67 million, the fifth highest October opening in history. This was 25% higher than the opening weekend of Shazam! in 2019, but just 1% lower than Aquaman's opening in 2018. However, Black Adam had a steep 59% drop in its second weekend, which was more severe than both Shazam! and Aquaman. Despite having a similar opening weekend gross to Aquaman, Black Adam's total gross was 47% lower by the end of its 17th day. Black Adam's second weekend drop was also steeper than other films starring Dwayne Johnson, such as Hobbs & Shaw and Jumanji: The Next Level. By the end of the year, Black Adam was in the middle of Warner Bros.' current DC Comics series in terms of box office, ahead of Shazam! and Birds of Prey, but behind The Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman 1984.

6.Bullet Train

Bullet Train is a 2022 action comedy film directed by David Leitch and produced by Kelly McCormick and Antoine Fuqua. The movie, which was based on the 2010 novel Maria Beetle by Kōtarō Isaka, follows a former hitman played by Brad Pitt as he battles other killers while riding a bullet train. The film also stars Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, Benito A. Martínez Ocasio, and Sandra Bullock. Filming took place in Los Angeles from November 2020 to March 2021, and the movie premiered in Paris on July 18, 2022, before being released in the United States on August 5, 2022, by Sony Pictures Releasing. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, the film was a commercial success, grossing $239 million worldwide on a production budget of around $90 million.

Dr. Emil Nicholas, helps Morbius study medicine in New York.

 In his quest for a cure for his own illness, Morbius creates synthetic blood,

 which helps many people and earns him a Nobel Prize. However,

 Morbius refuses the prize, feeling that he does not deserve recognition

 for something that was merely a byproduct of a failed experiment.

 He then begins experimenting with vampire bats, attempting to 

use their genes to find a cure for his condition.

9.Uncharted

Victor Sullivan, a treasure hunter, enlists the help of Nathan Drake, a skilled street-smart adventurer, to search for a lost fortune believed to have been accumulated by explorer Ferdinand Magellan. The treasure, worth $5 billion, is said to be 500 years old. The hunt turns into a dangerous race against time as they try to beat the ruthless Santiago Moncada to the prize. Along the way, they must decode clues and solve an ancient mystery. The two men must also learn to work together if they hope to succeed in their mission.
